Κορνήλιος Σελαμσής - Συνθέτης
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1981. Από το 2004 έως το 2010 έζησε στην Ολλανδία και σπούδασε σύνθεση στο Βασιλικό Ωδείο της Χάγης.
Έργα του έχουν παραγγελθεί και παιχθεί από το ASKO Ensemble, το Nieuw Ensemble, το Enseble de Ereprijs, τη φιλαρμονική ορχήστρα του Łódz, το Artéfacts Ensemble, την Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών, το Artéfacts Ensemble, το Ventus Ensemble, το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Μολύβου Λέσβου, τη Στέγη του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση, την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή, την MusicAeterna κ.α.
Το καλοκαίρι του 2016 παρουσιάστηκε στο Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών η όπερα του Λεόντιος και Λένα και το καλοκαίρι του 2018 η εγκατάσταση για σαράντα ηχητικές πηγές Αγαθόφρων.
Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2023 παρουσιάζεται σε περιοδεία σε όλη την Ελλάδα από την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή η όπερά του Η ωραία Ελένη του Όφενμπαχ.
Ένα μεγάλο μέρος της εργασίας του συνθέτη καταλαμβάνει η μουσική στο θέατρο με πολλές παραγωγές στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.
Παράλληλα με τη συνθετική του εργασία, έχει εργαστεί ως υπεύθυνος καλλιτεχνικού προγραμματισμού και εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων.
Από το Μάιο του 2014 έως τον Μάιο του 2016 ήταν καλλιτεχνικός υπεύθυνος της σειράς συναυλιών Τρίτες Παράλληλες του θεάτρου Πόρτα.
Κατόπιν πρόσκλησης του Εθνικού Θεάτρου δημιούργησε τον Νοέμβριο του 2015, το εργαστήρι Σύνθεση Μουσικής στο Θέατρο στο οποίο εργάστηκε ως τον Ιούνιο του 2020.
Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2023 ο συνθέτης εκπροσωπείται για όλο τον κόσμο από την εταιρεία MUSICENTRY.
