AXION ESTI by Mikis Theodorakis and Odysseas Elytis from the Open University of Cyprus

Axion Esti the famous poem of the great poet Odysseas Elytis, which was composed and orchestrated by our Mikis Theodorakis, was presented by the Open University of Cyprus, in the frame of the cultural events organized for the period 2018-2019.
 
55 years after its first premiere, "Axion Esti" was presented to the Cypriot audience, on April 13, 2019 at the Latsia Municipal Theater. The performance was directed by Konstantinos Diminakis, one of the most rising conductors of the new generation. In the concert were also participated :

The event was under the auspices of the President of the Cypriot Republic and was supported by the Municipality of Latsia.
