ERT National Symphony Orchestra at the Olympia Municipal Music Theater Maria Callas

A unique concert will be given by the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT on May 20th with works by Brahms, Debussy, Puccini and Theodorakis, with the participation of the distinguished saxophonist Theodoros Kerkezos, conducted by the young and talented Konstantinos Romanou Papazoglou.

ERT National Symphony Orchestra in its first collaboration with the new talented distinguished conductor Konstantinos Romanos Papazoglou presents Johannes Brahms Second Symphony, a lyrical, bright, full of power, liveliness and charm, which is a reference to symphonic music.

The internationally renowned virtuoso saxophonist Theodoros Kerkezos will perform two demanding and rich in melodies and sounds, the Rhapsody for saxophone and orchestra by Claude Debussy and the Cretan Concertino by Mikis Theodorakis.

The concert will begin with one of Giacomo Puccini's youthful works, the Symphonic Prelude, with which the composer, showed his great ability in beautiful melodies.
