Pandemonium by Nestor Taylor published by the Dutch Publisher DONEMUS

01 September 2020Source: Donemus Publishing

In Musicentry we struggle constantly to promote worldwide the Greek composers we represent, aiming to have their works widely presented and exploited by any mean possible. We are very happy and honored to have by our side in this effort, the important Dutch Music Publishing House DONEMUS with whom we have concluded a reciprocal agreement in the frame of which, except of various projects in progress, we have expanded our collaboration in the sector of publication of the music material of the Greek composers we represent.

We are therefore, extremely pleased to announce the beginning of our collaboration with the publisher DONEMUS in the field of publications of music materials and in the first instance the conclusion of the publication agreements for two works by the composer Nestor Taylor: "PANDEMONIUM" symphonic fantasy for large Orchestra and "ELENI" a dramatic oratorio based on the book of Nicolas Gage. The first work was completed in 2019 and the second work is due to be completed in 2020.

Both works will have their world premiere in 2021.

Since the work PANDEMONIUM is already completed by the composer, the music material is already available by Donemus Publishing. Nestor Taylor composed this work as a symphonic fantasy for large orchestra presenting a fusion of conflicting styles, embracing different historical periods that curiously enough, are able to coexist in a new, more pluralistic time-order, with no boundaries. Pandemonium was dedicated by the composer to conductor Myron Michailidis, his friend and collaborator for many years, and to the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra who will be the first Orchestra to present the work in April 2021 in Erfurt/Germany.

The duration of the work is 10 min and its orchestration is : picc, 2fl, 2ob, eh, 3cl, cl-b, fg, cfg, 4h, 3tpt, 2trb-t, trb-b, tb-cb, timp, 3perc, hp, pf, org, str.

For performances of the work in Greece and Cyprus, you may contact Musicentry and for performances in other territories, you may contact Donemus Music Publishing.

Stay tuned as we will soon announce the availability as well, of the music material of the much anticipated work ELENI.
