We are the representative and subpublisher of the publishing house SCHOTT MUSIC GmbH & Co Kg of Germany, since 1 November 2018, for Greece and Cyprus. We are also dealer of their sheet music sales catalogue.
SCHOTT MUSIC publishing house was founded in 1770 in Mainz of Germany from Bernhard Schott and is considered today as one of the leading music publishing houses with dynamic presence in the global market.
SCHOTT MUSIC is a modern family business whose efficient management shaped the publisher's profile and achieved their international recognition and success. Supported by a team of 180 professionals in the areas of editing, production and distribution, the publishing house creates a new music repertoire in coordination with the composers it represents and offers a new impetus to musical life, satisfying customer demands from all over the world.
The publishing program of SCHOTT MUSIC aims mostly to the publication of modern works of creators of the 20th and 21th century. Internationally renowned composers such as Carl Orff, Igor Stravinsky, Michael Tippett, Paul Hindemith, György Ligeti, Krzysztof Penderecki, Hans Werner Henze, Aribert Reimann and our own Mikis Theodorakis, trusted the publication of their works in SCHOTT MUSIC. Nowadays SCHOTT MUSIC searches to support and encourage new composers from all over the world, as part of its cultural program, such as Jörg Widmann, Christian Jost, Thierry Pécou, Chaya Czernowin, Atsuhiko Gondai, Fazil Say and Andrew Norman.
SCHOTT MUSIC handles a large catalogue of symphonic works, operas, ballets and hires to orchestras and producers printed music material for orchestra and choir for performances worldwide but also for other uses such as audiovisual productions (film, series, advertisements), broadcastings etc.
Schott Music's publishing programme includes works from various music genres such as pop, rock, jazz, classic in various orchestrations and for different uses such as in concerts, opera and theatre performances.

Schott Music through his own service and logistics centre, Music Distribution Services GmbH (MDS), distributes not only the products from the entire Schott programme but also the publications of more than 120 third-party publishers. About 130,000 titles (scores, books, recordings), stored in a modern high-bay warehouse that currently houses more than 13 million items, are shipped from Mainz worldwide every year.
Through our partnership with MDS PARTNER, in the city of Mainz, Germany, one of the largest publishers' distribution centres in Europe, we can provide you with the sheet music on sale by SCHOTT MUSIC.

- Opera, ballet, stage performances: public performances / live shows
For live stage performances - e.g. operas, ballets, theatre, musicals - whether accompanied by live music or by recorded music - the permission of the creators is required and a grand rights license which will cover, apart from the royalties payable, any rental material required.
- Recording - filming of a stage performance of an opera, theatre, ballet work and broadcast
If you wish to record or film your stage performance for the purpose of audio - visual broadcast, internet streaming (whether on subscription or free), for commercial or private use, you need to request permission of the creators and an additional license from us.
In order to provide you with the relevant licenses as described above, as well as with the orchestral music material for your stage performances, you may send to us all the details of your project, such as dates or period of performances, venues, seating capacity of the venues, name of the orchestra and of the main participants, tickets prices etc. and we will contact you as soon as possible.
